Delete your account
You can delete your Hudava account and the data in it at any time. Here is how to do it, what is removed, and what we keep.
Two ways to delete
In the app
The fastest way. It takes effect immediately.
- 1Open Hudava and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- 2Go to More, then open Privacy Settings.
- 3Under Data Management, tap Delete Account.
- 4Confirm twice. The deletion takes effect immediately and signs you out.
By email
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in.
Write to us from the email address registered to your account and ask for it to be deleted. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we aim to complete it within 30 days.

- AI chat sessions and every message in them
- Bookmarks, folders and tags
- Notes and reflections
- Reading progress and reading history
- Hifz plans, memorization progress, practice sessions and recorded mistakes
- Learning game history and download records
- Registered devices and saved preferences
- Email verification and password reset codes
- Your name, profile details, profile picture and Google sign-in link
What is kept
A small amount is retained, for the reasons given.
- Your email address, in a disabled form. No one can sign in with it. We keep it only to answer support, refund and payment-dispute questions, for up to 12 months after deletion, and then erase it. You can sign up again with the same email at any time; it will be a new, empty account.
- Subscription and transaction records. Kept for up to 7 years for financial record-keeping, tax and accounting, and for resolving billing or refund questions with the app stores. They are not linked to your name.
- Messages you sent to our support team. A record of the request and how it was handled, kept for up to 24 months.
Before you delete
- Cancel any subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel a Plus or Pro subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account so you are not charged again.
- Deletion cannot be undone. Your notes, bookmarks, Hifz progress and chat history cannot be recovered afterwards.
- Only want to remove AI data? In Privacy Settings, under Data Management, the Clear Data button deletes your saved AI chat sessions and AI Check results while keeping your account.
- To have your remaining email record erased as well, email privacy@hudava.com. We will remove it unless we are legally required to keep it.
